Hi, my name is Mikaela and I'm a nonbinary Latinx artist! I've been drawing for many years now and one of my passions is drawing my OC's.

How does being queer inform your work?

A lot of my illustrations feature original queer characters I've developed over the years. In creating queer content, I've been able to express myself since I was in the closet without feeling like I was entirely exposed; art for me was a way to subtly let out my sexuality without having to yet out myself entirely.
