How does being queer inform your work?

We live in a postmodern context, where our identities are multiple. Being a gay man working in UX design means being aware of the barriers faced by our community. I believe that my identity, as well as my empathy, allows me to develop a closer look at the reality of a queer collective.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

For me, there is nothing that compares to the New York Ball Room of the 1980s and 1990s. At that time, I wasn't born yet, but there is such a strong connection between my projects and this visual style in particular.

Which other queer people inspire you?

As a Brazilian, I believe that there are exceptional cases as a reference. But federal deputy Erika Hilton is a great inspiration to me.
