How does being queer inform your work?

As a queer person, I feel compelled to question the status quo in many areas of life. As a designer, this attribute helps me in both problem and solution space: my instinct is to explore systemic challenges and I feel somewhat unconstrained by gender and family norms when imagining potential futures.
