How does being queer inform your work?

The work I do now revolves heavily around equitable access. Growing up I grew to expect exclusion, and even the slightest offer of kindness was seen as a gift. Treating everyone with respect and dignity informs the design choices my team makes.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I grew up with Nickelodeon, and connecting the Keith Haring designs I saw on tv without any context to the powerful bathroom mural at the NYC LGBT Center was incredible.
