How does being queer inform your work?

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I think the rainbow flag - but understand I am of an age where it only became visible commonly used around the same time that as I was coming out; in fact it was almost a secret symbol then. Previous to that, the pink triangle was prevalent as a gay symbol (which I also like as a symbol and example of taking ownership of something used against you,) but I especially like the intention of inclusivity and positivity that the flag represents.
