I do policy & design in gov, specializing in gender inclusion from a decolonial feminist sociological POV. I also run a queer salon!

How does being queer inform your work?

My queerness is the central unifying force that affects my work & worldview. It has been my entry point to inclusive and intersectional thinking, and has opened doors to brilliant and diverse futurisms that I interact with to ground my design & policy methodologies

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I am hugely inspired by how visual meets experiential. So it’s not one piece, but a movement to include live, ever-changing emotions into the stasis of visual imagery such as print

Which other queer people inspire you?

This is endless but lately: Adrienne Marie Brown, Audre Lorde, José Esteban Muñoz, and creators & entrepreneurial queers in my communities
