I’m a transmasc artist, illustrator and animator, for entertainment, education, corporate, marketing and interior design projects.

How does being queer inform your work?

Somehow, having always lived the double life of a trans man, I am always reaching for what is beyond the ordinary and whenever possible I like to inject some whimsy into the work, probably as a result of maintaining a kind of metaposition on "the given". Also, because I have always felt that spark of queerness in my soul, I always try to add some extra spark to my work, especially in portraiture.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

So hard to choose from so many... most recently, I Saw The TV Glow and Queer... honorable mention, Astroboy!

Just in the past few days, I've been inspired by Walt Whitman, Oliver Sacks, Andy Warhol, Robert Mapplethorpe, Pete Buttigieg, Erin Reed...
