How does being queer inform your work?

Being queer informs everything! ha. In my UX design work, it makes me pay more attention to marginalized communities and other groups of people who might be overlooked by the mainstream. In my interpersonal work relationships, it's a constant balance of authenticity and representation.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

Not to sound cliche, but Keith Herring and Frida Kahlo are hugely inspirational artists for me.

Which other queer people inspire you?

I am most inspired by what is happening in queer music right now. There are so many wonderful artists sharing their experiences, and it's inspiring to see how fully and uncompromisingly they show up and share themselves!
