How does being queer inform your work?

Being queer gives me a deeper understanding of diversity and inclusivity. My experiences help me empathize with different perspectives, making my designs more relatable and thoughtful. It also inspires me to think creatively and challenge conventional ideas.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I connect with the Progress Pride Flag by Daniel Quasar because it reflects inclusion and diversity, which align with my design values. Each color and shape has a purpose, reminding me to be intentional and thoughtful in my work.

Which other queer people inspire you?

I’m inspired by Keith Haring for his bold art that celebrates queer identity and drives social change. RuPaul inspires me by breaking barriers and showing how authenticity thrives. In design, Timothy Goodman’s vulnerable and bold storytelling pushes me to be authentic in my work.
