Queer Design Club

I am a writer, strategist and designer working currently at IDEO. I'm into humans, dancing, skating, boxing, my dog, my cat, and dreams.

How does being queer inform your work?

I believe access is the new wave in design, and queers design for openness and inclusion; community-minded design is built into LGBTQIIA2P+ culture and that way of thinking will help revolutionize design in the coming years.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

Recently, I bought "We are Everywhere," a book about the visual history of queer protest and I think the role of queers to get political and active is vital.

Which other queer people inspire you?

Literally any queer being themselves in monocultures in big buildings, you inspire me. Do you. Hang on to your weirdness. And rock it all the way to the top.
