How does being queer inform your work?

It's about visibility, representation and communicating that in an effective way. Being queer is an important facet but how you wield it is even more important. It can provide a voice and perspective to your work in an otherwise straight-cis-white-male industry.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

Drag queen culture, gay bar history, queer fine artists. So many to name here but I'd rather call out facets of culture

Which other queer people inspire you?

Bimini bon Boulash and Juno Birch are my two current queer people that inspire me. They're both artists in their own unique way and everything they manifest is absolutely beautiful from a photo to a sculpture to a sound bite in a Youtube video.
