Recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a BFA in motion graphics. I love art, design, and being a lesbian.

How does being queer inform your work?

It’s interesting, as I’ve only recently began to refer to myself as a “queer” designer instead of just being a designer. It allows me, especially as a motion designer, to have the upper hand as I create media, by being in touch with a community who feels underrepresented.

Which other queer people inspire you?

I try to surround myself with queer people and the tight knit community I have built (especially during my time at art school) inspired me as not only an artist but as a person. As a queer person myself, almost every single person in my inner circle is also queer and they are a beacon of light in my life.
