How does being queer inform your work?

I always try and advocate for non-traditional users of applications I'm designing. The awareness of the underrepresented influences my process, thinking, and creativity in general. I like to use my unique individuality as a strength and try to bring something different to the table on every project.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

My favorite piece of queer visual culture lies in my friends' creativity! I consider myself very lucky to have a chosen family that is so creative in how they express themselves. Drag queens, club kids, alien life-forms, and more–from amateurs to professionals–they continue to inspire me.

Which other queer people inspire you?

Just to name a few (people and organizations), I'm very inspired by the work of Nyle DiMarco, Indya Moore, the Cute Brute, El Champ Magazine, Chella Man, and Sasha Velour.
