I am a queer non-binary designer and illustrator. I design for brand, visual, and marketing, & am passionate about mentorship and education.

How does being queer inform your work?

It increases awareness. When proofreading, changing language to be more inclusive of gender (i.e. changing "his or hers" to "theirs"). When choosing stock photos, I pick photos defeating

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I love drag. The performance, the clothing, the styles, the energy. My favorite drag queen is Joan Jett Blakk (Terrance Smith) who was the first Drag Queen to run for president of the United States in 1992 and was a queer activist in Chicago.

Which other queer people inspire you?

SO Many. Literally every person on twitter, for starters. Fiona Carty is amazing at organizing small queer spaces and making people feel included.
