A UX Researcher passionate about uncovering insights through user interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping. I thrive on empathy-driven design and creating impactful user experiences. When I’m not researching, you’ll find me solving puzzles.

How does being queer inform your work?

Being queer allows me to approach design with empathy, inclusivity, and a unique perspective. It reminds me to challenge norms, celebrate diverse voices, and create user experiences that truly resonate with everyone. It’s all about designing for belonging!

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

My website's homepage is my personal celebration of queer visual culture - where playful colors dance with formal design principles, creating a space that's unapologetically vibrant yet professionally polished. But it's my artistic expressions page that truly captures my heart - it's my digital canvas where I can freely explore and express my identity through design, breaking conventional boundaries while maintaining that delicate balance between whimsy and sophistication!

Which other queer people inspire you?

While I'm still exploring and connecting with the queer design community, I've found inspiration in Josh Silverman's work and through my involvement with the AIGA Chicago community. These connections have helped me grow professionally while staying true to my identity. I'm excited to discover and learn from more queer designers through platforms like Queer Design Club!
