Hi, I’m Florent Martinez, a passionate Product Designer with 6 years of experience. My goal is to design interfaces with users for users.

How does being queer inform your work?

I always try to be as inclusive as possible in my speaking and design choices. In the company where I work, I make sure that diversity is an important topic (gender, colour, sexual orientation).

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

Drag Queens! I find them beautiful, strong, full of positive messages, and remind us of tolerance.

Which other queer people inspire you?

Freddy Mercury: he represents for me the freedom and openness of the minds of his time, he also reminds me that it's thanks to the queers of that time that we're lucky to be where we are now, and Queen's music moves me every time, I want to break free being my favorite.
