Hi! I'm Bran, a queer motion designer living in Bristol. Most of my work tackles themes of mental health and LGBTQIA+ acceptance.

How does being queer inform your work?

As a gay man, I'm incredibly passionate about telling pro LGBTQIA+ narratives with my work and drawing from personal experiences within my work has made me a more honest and open person.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I love the work of David Wojnarowicz and all of his photography, especially around the AIDS epidemic. His work is incredibly striking and was an important part of my journey of learning more about queer history.

Which other queer people inspire you?

Andy Warhol has always been a huge inspiration to me and countless other queer people. There's so many amazing queer artists with work that I find incredibly striking; Jeffrey Gibson, Tom of Finland, Frida Kahlo, Robert Mapplethorpe, Zanele Muholi, just to name a few.
