How does being queer inform your work?

As a queer individual, my work is informed by my unique perspective and experiences. I believe in fostering inclusivity in my professional environment and contributing to a diverse and supportive workplace. My queer identity is not just a personal aspect but a source of strength and inspiration that I bring into my professional endeavors.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I enjoy watching different tv shows like Pose, Harlem, Looking, and my all-time favorite Broad City. These shows are very empowering while also teaching me that we all have everyday life problems no matter your orientation and that we must care and uplift one another within our community.

Which other queer people inspire you?

Bowen Yang is a tremendous inspiration to me. His creative brilliance, from writing to directing and acting, caught my attention on SNL and has since captured my heart. What sets him apart is not just his talent but also his humility, navigating success with grace. His commitment to education over greed is truly admirable.
