Graphic designer working at Aldeilis advertising agency in Iceland since 2021. Graduated from the Iceland University of the Arts with a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication/graphic design. A well rounded designer with a passion for ceramics.

How does being queer inform your work?

I try to implement queerness and inclusivity wherever and whenever I can. My bachelor's thesis was about queer visibility in Icelandic advertisements and we clearly need more visibility compared to how much visibility heteronormativity gets. It inspired me to speak up and push for more visibility in advertising but it only goes so far because ultimately it's the client who has the final say.

Which other queer people inspire you?

My queer colleagues and former school mates inspire me in so many ways. I'm also so happy to have stumbled upon this website so I can get inspired by more queer designers and artists!
