How does being queer inform your work?

It brings a complex and unique kind of representation to visual work in order to express oneself. Queerness often encourages thinking beyond binaries, which enhances my ability to interpret complex and diverse perspectives. It also makes me more attuned to issues related to marginalization and empowers me to create an open, respectful, and affirming space for people of all backgrounds.

Which other queer people inspire you?

I am inspired by the type of people that take the national as well as international queer history into consideration when they are expressing themselves. They are able to learn so much about themselves and share their thoughts and emotions so vividly than anyone else.
