How does being queer inform your work?

Being non-binary shapes my work as a UI/visual designer by giving me a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and the need for inclusive design. This insight helps me create interfaces that are accessible, empathetic, and representative of all users, making sure everyone feels seen and valued. My unique experiences and identity fuel my creativity and innovation, leading to more authentic and impactful designs.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

My favorite piece of queer visual culture is the documentary "Paris is Burning." It captures the vibrant 1980s drag ball culture in NYC, highlighting the creativity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community.
