I'm a nonbinary UX/UI designer, content strategist, & speaker. I love wearing many hats & making big swings with small, passionate teams.

How does being queer inform your work?

Inclusive design is what happens when we stop making assumptions about our core user's abilities and environment. As a visibly trans person, I have experienced what it's like to move through a world that is not designed to welcome you. It's made me passionate about considering the perspectives, constraints, and blind spots we have--and how, by designing for a specific population, we can make the whole product experience better for everyone, regardless of how they identify.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

My local drag queens, of course. TIP YOUR QUEENS!

Which other queer people inspire you?

I love my community and am inspired every day to advocate and fight for the most vulnerable and marginalized among us, drawing strength from those who have come before and my chosen family.
