Being queer informs my work by fostering a deep understanding of diversity, empathy, and the importance of inclusivity. My personal experiences have heightened my awareness of the varied perspectives and unique challenges faced by marginalized communities. This drives me to design with greater sensitivity and thoughtfulness, ensuring that my work is accessible, welcoming, and empowering for all users. By embracing my queer identity, I bring authenticity and a commitment to creating inclusive and equitable user experiences that celebrate and respect individuality.

Which other queer people inspire you?

Laverne Cox: As an actress and advocate, her work has been instrumental in increasing visibility and understanding of the transgender community. Her courage and eloquence in discussing her experiences inspire me to champion inclusivity and representation in my designs.
