How does being queer inform your work?

I´m always trying to incorporate elements of diversity in every work that I do even when the client brief has no connection to it. I work as a comic book artist and all my work has queer characters. As a teacher I´m proud and queer and everyone in my working environment knows about my identity. Being a freelance designers and Illustrator helps in that matter.

Derek Jarman, Rebecca Sugar, The Pet shopboys, Hercules and love affair, Dani Umpi (writer and musician from Uruguay), Sasha Velour, Kenneth Anger, Paula Suko (comic book artist from Argentina), The Cute Brute, Francis Bacon, Anohni, House of LaBeija, Goldfrapp, Susy shock ( trans musician and activist form Argentina)
