How does being queer inform your work?

It makes me consider other perspectives and think of marginalized groups, so that my designs and content are as accessible as possible.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

I love queer music and the accompanying music videos, as well as queer shows like Drag Race, the L word, and queer seasons of reality TV. I also love queer murals, and the artist and illustrator Jenifer Prince.

Which other queer people inspire you?

Queer people at all ages and stages inspire me, whether they haven't come out yet or they've been out and proud for years. I especially admire older queer people, who have paved the way and lived through difficult times, but are still living their truth loudly and proudly. I also admire trans and non-binary people for their bravery every day and their willingness to navigate life as their true self.
