How does being queer inform your work?

Being queer an immigrant in the US influences my work mostly in looking at other perspectives and holding space for queerness. I believe in queer representation, immigrant and multilingual voices and I try to apply this when I do research.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

the pink triangle, from Act Up campaigns. Not only the icon but what it represents as a fight and survival for being seen, represented and fighting for our survival in a system that doesn't want diverse voices.
