How does being queer inform your work?

I believe that being queer gives us a unique perspective on life. Our experiences have made us more attuned to emotions and better able to empathize with others. Personally, I find it easier to understand my clients' feelings and provide them with the support they truly need, even if it may not be what they originally asked for.

What are your favorite pieces of queer visual culture?

Cabaret: Campy, funny, and dark. In my opinion, it's the ultimate visual representation of the joys and struggles of queer culture.

Which other queer people inspire you?

Harvey Milk, who used charisma and empathy to stand up for what's right.RuPaul, who used performance, elegance, and humor to draw attention to a historically fringe movement.Alan Turing, who demonstrated a sense of duty to himself and his country, despite being chastised by the latter for his sexuality.Eileen Gray, who made a name for herself in the still male-dominated architecture profession.
